Clean Catch Urines

The following procedures are for Clean Catch Urines.

1. Place the label given to you onto the side of the cup.
2. Open a new towelette and clean the area.
   1. Women: Please wipe front to back
   2. Men: Please clean tip of penis in a circular motion (uncircumcised men need to retract the foreskin first)
3. Begin to urinate. Catch the urine sample midstream.
4. Please secure the lid tightly.
5. Return the sample to the lab or leave in the designated place if collecting at the office. If collection is done off-site or at home. Keep sample refrigerated and return to the lab the same day.
